Allo!

Getting a quality family shot is increasingly difficult these days. Here's the best we could do on Easter morning.

Such a Daddy's girl. They don't look alike at all...

"GiGi" is Avery's bestest pal

All the 3 and under kids lined up (minus our little straggler) ready for the neighborhood Easter egg hunt to begin! It was soooo cute watching the kids!

She found an "ellow" one

Nooooo...you eat what's inside the egg, silly!

She loooves her new bunny "hoppy" so much that she wants him to sit with her while she eats. She even offers him a couple bites.

Being adorable and silly on our bed

We had such a wonderful Easter weekend. It was kicked off on Friday evening with a neighborhood egg hunt. It was so fun for the kids and adults alike! We are very lucky to be in such a lovely neighborhood with fun and friendly people. Avery had a ball and we found out that she loooooves jelly beans! My parents (a.k.a. Buppa and Gigi) came over to spend Easter with us. The Easter bunny left Aves a basket with lots of goodies. She was so excited to find it on Sunday a.m. We went to church, had a feast, played outside, and relaxed...just how I imagined Easter to be while spending it in Europe for the past 6 yrs. It was a far cry from last year when Luke was on the road, I ate a frozen pizza, and Skyped with my family!
Avery is getting more verbal by the day. She has too many word to count these days. She is obsessed with "owies" or as she calls them "oukies." She has so many oukies all the time. Bruises and bumps and scrapes are all part of the reckless toddler eperience, I suppose! She is also trying to say "I love you," which comes out "allo." It just melts my heart each time!!
