Avery was a huuuuuge fan of the beach. She even loved the (coooold!) water.

Luke and Xavi (the groom)
At the wedding rehearsal. It was SO gorgeous. What a beautiful place for a beautiful couple to get married!We got back yesterday from a wonderful visit to San Diego. We had an action-packed trip! The purpose of the trip was to celebrate the wedding of Xavi and Jessica Lopez. Luke and Xavi were teammates in Bilbao 2 seasons ago. Luke was honored to be a groomsman in their wedding. The wedding took place at Point Loma University, in a park overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It was the most amazing view and a beautiful wedding. Congrats to Senor and Senora Lopez!
We also went to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. Both were so cool. Avery didn't really care about either. If it were up to her we wouldn't have ever left the pool! The biggest hit according to Avery was Mission Beach. She just loooooooved it! She immediately took off crawling directly into the water and basked in the surf. She didn't even mind the 65 degree water. She was shivering and had blue lips and was crying to get back in! I think we may have a little surfer chick on our hands!

AWWW! I am so sad we weren't there, too. I was sad looking at the pics! I'm so glad you guys had fun. We will have to do it again some other time. I miss you guys a ton! Avery is cuter by the minute!
